Q-STAR is an ideal laser for removing tattoos and many benign dermal pigmented lesions. The deep but selective penetration into the skin of the Nd:Yag laser (1064nm) ensures that the dark (black, blue and brown) pigments of professional tattoos are reached. The second wave length doubled by a KTP (532 nm), enables to treat the different tattoo colours (red, orange and some violet) as well as the hyper pigmentations like ephelides, hyperchromatic stains and age dark spot.

The Q-switch system delivers very high power pulses with very short pulse width (nanoseconds), thus avoiding any heat transmission to the surrounding skin area reduces the risk of unwanted side effects.
