EM 28.01 QUASER

Interested as usual in vanguard technologies and new equipment design, Tecnogamma has built and patented a new intrument for physiotherapy and phototherapy: the QUASER.
The equipment is made of panel complete with solid state emitters in the infrared/red spectrum.The panel is mounted on a jointed arm which allows to reach the best positioning in relation to the patient, thus eliminating the operator intervention during the treatment.
The second part consists in an infrared LASER Ga As manipulator, specially made for small surfaces local treatment.
A central control unit provides the input to both parts.

The concurrence of two equipments with similar features grants the QUASER a great versatility of employment.
The modulating circuit operates on both parts and makes it possible to vary the emission frequency of LASER and QUASER beam from 1.25 Hz to 160 Hz. Several studies have demostated that low frequencies (1-2 Hz) stimulate the endorphins production thus increasing the threshold of pain; high frequencies produce instead a biostimulting, cicatrizing and antiodema effect.
The complete absence of heat in the emitted radiation permits the safest use of QUASER even in old patients, in those with osteporosis, and in metal prothesis bearers.

By now, a wide range of experiences has demonstrated with very good results that the QUASER assures the same therapeutic effects that the LASER does, and with diminished treatment periods, in the following indications:
- locomotive apparatus pathology:artrosis, lumbar-sciatic neuralgia, distorsions, tendinitis, light shocks contusions, strains, etc..
- dermatology and aesthetical medicine: cellutis, localized obeseness, wrinkles, acne, etc.
- rehabilitation:fracture consequences, acceleration of cicatrizin processes, locomotive capability recovery.
