The studies carried out on the betterment of the stimulating action demonstrated tha the most important result can be reached with sinusoidal alternating currents at a frequency between 2000 Hz and 3000 Hz (Kotz currents). The stimulating action within the tissues is equal to that which the muscular exercice produces; the fist one has the advantage of being localized and restricted.

The stimulation is led by pairs of plates; these will be applied with interposition of conductive gel in order to help the current passage. For reducing the lateral sliding of the gluteus, known as "culotte de chaval", one plate must be applied over the infragluteus sulcus; the second one, parallel to the first, in correspondece with the upper juncture of the same gluteus.

To reach a better aesthetical result it is possible to limit the results on the thighs, glutei, breast and arms muscles.
